To begin with, transformational leadership has some advantages, for instance, it translates to the personal growth and development of the workers. The leader will, therefore, enhance the own employee ambitions and this will enable the company advance. According to Abraham Maslow, transformational leadership helps (Reafat.n.d. pg.67) transform members of the group into people who can have self-actualization.
Secondly, this type of leadership can make the employees perform beyond their limits. The employees would have more urge to bring out their best. It is, therefore, an idea leadership style. Transformational leadership impacts are also experienced in all the levels of the organization. A decision by the top management is readily received by the members of the subordinate.
Being an individual who always likes group association and problem-solving through consultation, it would be essential for me to apply this type of leadership style in my organization. The leadership style will enable me to (Elliot and Asghar, 2014.pg.45) understand various challenges that are experienced by the employees that cannot make them do well or the reasons behind their dismal performance and hence help improve the level of performance. A good performance enables the firm to reap well from its activities. According to Kouzes and Posner, a leader should be able to show the way to their subjects, challenge the process through a reasoned critique and promote the best way forward.
Regarding the beliefs, if at all this leadership style is helpful, I would tentatively agree to the fact. Once you have a cordial relationship between the management or leaders in the organization with their employees, then the outcome will also be at a generous level.
