2. Enhanced human productivity
a. With cars doing all the driving, you will have free time during your commute
b. Traffic congestion will decrease, giving you more time with your family
c. More time to work on personal goals. Exercise, gym, side projects.
3. Improved mobility for children, the elderly, and the disabled
a. Drop-off, pick-up kids from school, or extra-curricular activities while parents are at work.
b. Elderly will be able to go to doctor appointments on their own
c. More independence for disabled people.
4. Minimal contingent of police officers assigned to traffic duties, freeing them to deal with crime
a. Less traffic tickets
b. No need of cops measuring the speed
II. Conclusion
Self-driving cars have the potential to be an incredible new wave in the future of humanity. Increased productivity, rest time, and possibly eliminating risk while driving, have the potential to greatly improve all of our lives.
