Research question: Should the government of the United States of America give an immediate solution to child immigration solutions at the border?

Thesis Statement : Due to the continued violation of the CPM custody stay rule for the undocumented and unaccompanied child immigrants, the American government needs to give an immediate solution to child immigration problems at the border to protect the innocence of the disadvantaged children. Comment by Author: The thesis should be the last sentence in the Introduction.

Introduction

Immigration crisis is continuing to rock the United States of America. The increase of immigration of undocumented and unaccompanied minors is promoting the United States of America government to come up with urgent policies that will address the issue and protect the innocence of the disadvantaged children.

Paragraph One

· It is not crime to seek asylum.

· The immigration policies of the United States of America recognize the right of individuals to seek asylum as stated in international law.

· Children are also fleeing from their countries of origin as a result of various uncertainties.

Paragraph Two

· It’s an inhumane policy to handle the young children with the same magnitude as the adult immigrants.

· When the adult illegal immigrants cross the United States of America border and are captured by the American authorities, they are put in custody for sentencing and even deportation.

· Child immigrants are always detained at the CPM before being transferred to the Office of Refugee resettlement.

Paragraph Three

· The United Nations charter on human rights advocates for the protection, future and safety of each child.

· It is the role of any government to ensure that the rights to protection, safety, and a bright future for any child are safeguarded.

· The American government needs to come up with policies to align the international rights of a child with the American policies on undocumented and unaccompanied children.

Paragraph Four

· America does not deserve to undergo the challenges it is facing because of immigrant minors.

· It is becoming hard to manage the CPM custody due to the high number unaccompanied and undocumented immigrant minor arrivals. Comment by Author: Where is the rebuttal?
