"For Exceptional Professor Only"
For Essay 1, your task is to construct an argument against Parmenides' view that motion is impossible.
First state your argument. For Example “Argument:…….”
In ¶2, you should describe and explain your argument against Parmenides' view. Naturally, you should make your own case as strong as you can.
In ¶3, you should describe and explain an objection to your own view. Don't just restate Parmenides' view. Describe a reason why your argument against Parmenides' view might be seen as weak. Make the case for this objection as strong as you can.
In ¶4, respond to the objection in ¶3. Don't simply restate the argument in ¶2. Tell your reader why your view is immune to the objection in ¶3.
