Any American history

 

Research and write a 500-words or more essay on any aspect of US history in the 1980s pertaining to domestic affairs (people, events, ideas within the US). 

Must use evidence from 1) JSTOR (2 sources); 2) American Perspectives; 3) one academic website (history.com, britannica.com, wikipedia.com are not academic, for example), and, 4) any news services or journal/magazines (Time, the Atlantic, etc). Plus, feel free to use anything in the Canvas classroom if you wish.

However, you are prohibited from using anything in our OER textbook (Our Story). You may use other OER textbooks, but just not the one we are using.

Cite as footnotes using the Chicago Manual of Style and please include a Bibliography.
