Early conceptualization of nursing theory is an important approach to enhancing APN nursing practice. Conceptualization basically involves developing a framework for understanding complex ideas in order to facilitate theory application and conversion into practice.  One way through which conceptualization contributes towards APN nursing practice is through decoding complex ideas pertaining to illness and health and these can then be applied meaningfully towards enhancing health outcomes. Essential III of MSN education advocates training on quality improvement and safety. Advanced nursing practitioners who engage in the early conceptualization of nursing theories are better placed to promote health outcomes through adopting ideas developed from their selected conceptual models (Cunningham, O’Toole, White, & Wells, 2018). Secondly, early conceptualization in nursing care is important as it allows APN to draw on the ideas of others and apply them in their practice. In other words, the conceptualization of nursing theory is important as far as the integration of evidence-based knowledge into practice is concerned. It is only when practitioners understand the concepts they come across that they may be able to apply it effectively in their practice (Laibhen-Parkes, 2014). Evidence-based practice relies on effective application of the generated knowledge I diverse settings. The conceptualization process facilitates an understanding of the applicability of the knowledge in specific settings and thus contributes to improved and quality care delivery.  In conclusion, the contribution of early conceptualization of nursing theories in APN practice cannot be underestimated. The APN roles revolve around the application of evidence-based knowledge and decoding complex ideas to enhance healthcare delivery. The effectiveness of these approaches relies on the conceptualization of various theoretical concepts as a means of enhancing care delivery.  References  Cunningham, J., O’Toole, T., White, M., & Wells, J.
