Steps to create a Repository
To keep your code or project in GitHub, you will need to create a repo
Step 1:
Login to the GitHub account. Are else you need to create an account, by filling the required details.
Step 2:
You can see + on the upper-right corner of the web page and to open the box click New repository
Step 3:
Write any name for your repo by the box, it should be easy to memorize.

Step 4:
You can add a description to your repository. It is optional to write.
Step 5:
We get two options to choose between public and private repository under the text box.
Public repositories are visible to every user in the GitHub and it is the best choice for getting started
Private repositories are for paid accounts and only visible to selected users. These require little more setup.
Step 6:
Select the Initialize this repository with a README.
It will let you clone the repository to your computer. You can skip if you are having an existing repository.
Step 7:
Click Create repository under the initialize repository
.
You have successfully created your first repository and initialize with a README file next to it.
