The essay I choose from the arguments we discussed is ” Reading to Write” by Stephen King. King makes an argument that it is important to read for a writer to increase his/ her knowledge about the issues and reading can also make a writer more efficient and it can change the patterns of writing by making it better, the author also argues about the increase in TV watch time and people are forgetting about the reading part which technically increases ones knowledge in many ways. The author wrote this essay because the author wants to express this feeling about ‘reading’ and it's much more important than watching Tv. The ethical dilemma that I found in this essay the most is that the author is trying to convince this audience that reading is a very important but not in a scary way he used humour to convince this audience.
