To restrict teens from accessing internet it is recommended to impose curfew to media. The curfew will ensure that no child or adolescent can get into the internet. This can done through restricting access to mobile devices and configuration on internet routers to set usage schedule beyond which it won’t work.

2. "Parents' Ultimate Guide to Parental Controls." 8 June 2020, https://amp.commonsense.org/blog/3b1ccbae-cec5-4228-a52f-a5a45927dd6e

Parental control using the settings (OS, Apps and network hardware) is probably the ultimate solution to restricted teenagers to internet. Even though parents or guardians can set strict curfew on media, it is quite difficult to control what teenagers search when they are left alone. Parental control is the solution that will keep teens safe and have fun on internet than merely accessing stuff that compromises their morality. You can block some sites and filter what teens can access using their devices.

3. "Have You Set Up Parental Controls for Your Child's Internet Access?" Verywell Family. www.verywellfamily.com/parental-controls-2634209 .

Mobile phone and internet parental controls involve use of passwords, software for parental control, monitoring soft wares and blockers on internet. A parent can also spy on teen’s device, engage them in age appropriate conversation and allow them to access age appropriate sites.

Relevance of the First Source to My Project White Paper

The first source ("How to Manage My Teen’s Online Access: Set a Media Curfew." Parent Samurai, 24 Aug. 2020). source relates to my proposal to restrict teenagers from accessing harmful content on internet. It demonstrates the simplest way of managing their access to internet by giving out rules and regulations to curtail use of internet (curfew on media).

It involve such restrictions as using time for specific hours before 9pm, using them on a specific area in the family house, beyond 9pm all devices will be kept in separate place and warning teens that using internet is not a must neither is it their right, and that being a favor from the parents they ought to happily adhere to rules regarding its use.

Relevance of the Second Source to My Project White Paper

Like the "How to Manage My Teen’s Online Access: Set a Media Curfew." Parent Samurai, 24 Aug. 2020. This source emphasizes that parental control is the ultimate approach to restricting adolescents group from harm due to internet contents. In relation to my project proposal that restricting teens from access to internet is the solution to avoid internet related consequences like mental health issues, this source outlines how to disconnect teens from particular internet content that is known to cause harm. It includes using OS settings to filter content streaming in while children are using a device to access videos or other internet stuff.

Relevance of the Third Source to My Project White Paper

This source is my last reference illustrating that parental control is key to providing solution to my project problem. The guidelines include built in software that help on parental controls. Parental control is not limited to blocking or filtering threatening content on internet but also diplomatic strategies. Teens are talked to on age related issues regarding internet. All the parental control strategies in turn give success to the aim of the project because they in turn instill morals and prevent internet related harm like addictive gaming or social media.
