ENGL 1302 – Film Review Description
Reviews “make a judgement about something . . . based on certain criteria” (Lunsford et al., 857). For this assignment, you will review an Academy Award nominated film. The audience for this review is a group of educated adults; however, you might also wish to consider the traits and expectations of a specific group who might be drawn to this film. Your review should be about 3 pages, double-spaced. The format required is an APA paper with subheadings. Your title will be a level one heading (not emboldened). You will have four level 2 headings: plot summary, description, analysis, and conclusion. You may choose to add level 3 or 4 level subheadings according to the organization of your review. Use the information from the OWL at Purdue to format your subheadings.
