Your introduction to the document would go here. Make sure that when you begin each

paragraph of your essay, you begin with this 5-space indent.

Use Heading 1 for the major sections of your document. Note the format of Heading 1 in

Times New Roman, Bold, 12, centered. Always keep this same formatting for APA.

[Heading 2]

Heading 2 can be used as a sub-heading. Again, keep the same formatting and make sure

you continue to indent each paragraph. Headings are not always necessary in every document. It

is up to you whether or when to use them.

Font and Spacing for the essay: All font should be 12-point Times New Roman. The essay should be double-spaced. There should be two spaces after end-of- sentence punctuation.
