Step 1:
Your task for this week is to complete the following:
1. Choose a topic from the list provided or one that has been approved by your instructor.
2. Read the source on your topic provided in the topics’ bibliography.
3. Locate a similar source on the issue, and think about the evidence you find so that you can form an opinion.
· Record at least 2 quotes (evidence) from your research.
· Identify at least 1 element of multimedia that supports the evidence.
4. Write a claim that is supported with 2 reasons that are based on evidence.
5. Draft an opening paragraph that includes your claim (thesis statement).
6. Use at least 1 quote to back up or frame your supporting reasons.
· Include an introduction for the quote in the sentence preceding it, or acknowledge it in the following sentence.
· Write an in-text citation and corresponding reference for your quote.
