Course Assignment 2

Aim:

The aim of this assignment is to assess your knowledge and understanding of types of dictionaries: their structures, arrangements and content, and your ability to differentiate between dictionaries depending on what lexicographical information they provide.

Instructions:

· Use different types of dictionaries to find as many as possible lexicographical information about the words in this chart:

Plaintiff (Legal word)- Pathologists (Medical word) أستعاض (Arabic word) - Ontology – Covid-19

· In a word document compare the features of the four different dictionaries and the information they provide for each word.

· You will also give your evaluation of the dictionaries and state which one would be the best choice for each word.

· Use the format provided in 5-1 Types and Component Structures of Dictionaries Assignment to write your answer.

· After you finish your answer, save a PDF copy and submit it.
