1. Do you write a plot summary in your introduction for your reader? What scenes or general moments do you include in your plot summary?

2. What is your essay’s thesis statement? If you selected the third option (short stories), is the draft in compare and contrast structure, and are both subjects (“In the Land of the Free” and “Silver Pavements, Golden Roofs”) included in the thesis? If you selected one of the first two options, does your argument center on Bulosan’s character development? Explain.

3. What elements from the work/s (if used) are examined to support the claim (conflict, character, symbol, language, etc.)? Is there a clear connection to the paper’s argument? Meaning, are the examples relevant to the overall argument? Provide two of your strongest examples from the draft (copy and paste, if you must).
