Alex Gino is an American children’s book writer who was born in New York, a genderqueer who uses the neologistic honorific language that does not indicate gender. The author of the novel George, which is a children’s novel about a young girl who is a transgender and how she struggles to be herself to the rest of the world, which sees her as a boy. The novel George shows how individual feel happy, hopeful and excited to be truly yourself, moreover any individual or child who has ever been misunderstood, felt different can feel and related with Melissa. However, George novel was a response to unending, unfulfilled, wish for correct and positive representation of a transgender child or person. Melissa being a transgender and no one knows it, thus the world saw her as a boy therefore calling her George and she was assigned as a male during birth. The author story only sides on transgender only and is helpful during research since it has useful information about gender identity and identify confusing of small children. Similarly, with Lee Airton book about gender they all use a singular like they for gender-neutral.

The author writing, the end of gender the author has used the research – based approach to address the main issues about being a woman and a man in today’s society. The author has unmasked popular and major misconception about nature and weather human personality behavior is caused by nurture (nurture debate). The author tell how conducting research on issues like gender- neutral parenting, gender dissatisfied children and about neuroscience of a transgender. Moreover, Dr. Debra emphasizes and challenges the idea about there is no difference between a man and a brain operation. However, the end of gender book only cover one side of story on how science can suppress knowledge about gender and sex without how to deal with gender differences, identity and struggles. Even though Soh insist that she has sympathy on individual struggling with sexual identity and supports everyone to determine what is good for them, the author only focuses on scientific facts only without determining how society can be of help. In addition, both Debra, Alex and Lee talk about transgender and gender identity, both authors states their concerns about gender using different platforms but unlike the other authors, Soh research is based in scientific facts and science studies about gender and sex.

Lee Airton, PHD, an assistant professor of gender and sexuality studies in Queen’s university located at Kingston, Ontario, the founder of No Big Deal Campaign, which is a social media initiative nationally that helps people support transgender have the right their pronoun used. In the book gender, the author explains how gender seem and accurate terms- what to say - used when referring to transgender, non-binary and non-confirming gender persons. This book contains all information an individual needs to talk without fear and compassionately about gender diversity and gender identity, expression and sex. Moreover, lee emphasizes on importance knowing gender norms are not universal but vary on different level example city by city therefore, it’s important we respect and understand fluidity of gender. This source will be a bit helpful in gender research project. Finally, this book is only based on gender transgender majorly. Lee writing is more similar to Alex novel story above.
