Theory Evaluation Topic and Sources Assignment Guidelines

Part I:

Respond to the questions below on the theory you chose. Write at least one paragraph to answer each of the following questions (so you’ll write a minimum of 5 paragraphs):

1. Which topic did you choose, and why?

2. How might you connect your topic to others’ experiences?

3. Who do you plan to interview? Why?

4. What research have you found on the topic so far, and where did you look? Which source(s) did you find most interesting? Why?

5. How might your topic affect society as a whole, or at least the academic community?

Part II:

Take one of the sources you found and, first, create an APA reference. Then, create a well developed paragraph that offers a summary of the source, about 150-200 words. When you summarize, focus only on the main points in the source. Do not use direct quotes in the summary. Write in your own words, and write in third person.
