chance to journey into the spooky side, and you get to choose from any of these three prompts:

Halloween Tricks: Are you, or the members of your family, masters of practical jokes? Have you ever pulled the

ultimate Halloween prank? Were you ever on the receiving end of a clever prank? Let’s hear it.

Write as much as you would like to write about the time you got pranked, or that you pranked

someone.

Halloween Treats: I’m not going to lie, I love the Charlie Brown holiday specials, and “It’s the Great Pumpkin,

Charlie Brown” is a special that I rarely miss. Is there a special movie or show that you love to

catch every Halloween, horror or family-oriented? Write a short essay about why you look

forward to it.

Halloween Terrors: Strange shit happens on Halloween night; watch the video about the “werewolf incident,” posted

on Canvas. You’ll never be able to respect me again. Have you ever experienced something

supernatural? What about mind-blowingly terrifying? Write an essay about your forays into the

supernatural, or the last time you got scared right out of your mind. I will happily share any of

my stories for the class’s entertainment as a trade.
