Case termination

James, Charlene, Abigail, Adam and Robert are my mental health clients who I offer psychotherapy services to. Giving these clients a sense of self is the main purpose of my mission with them and I have to ensure that I build meaningful activities with, have a well supportive professional relationship standards, get them the necessary peer support and provide the a variety of treatment alternatives available (Michael, A. M. 2007) according to their different levels of mental challenges.

For Abigail, Robert, and Adam, I intend to build a long term relationship with them due to their difficulty in showing improvement in the therapy sessions. This into do through increasing their peer support and providing them with education that will promote their mental health. (Peggy, S., Dori, S. & Kenneth, G. 2008).

Termination plan for Charlene and James

Before terminating the psychotherapy services I offer to my clients, I would like to make sure that James and Charlene fully recover and acquire skills such as being self-reliant. James and Charlene have shown progress in their therapies and I think that equipping them with business skills will help them become productive and also live a satisfying life in the community. Through education that enabled Charlene and James to grow mentally and them showing results, I intent to introduce them to business persons who will help them develop skills that will help them fit in the society. Once they have acquired these skills, I will terminate their treatment.
