Interview advice
• Arrive 10 minutes early • No matter how nervous you are, try and be
yourself • Research the service/philosophy before
attending interview • Bring evidence of your experience (reports,
photos, assignments, portfolios) • Ask for a tour of the service at the end of the
interview

syntax or grammatical errors • Create a point of difference – add a
photo, hand deliver, stand out format

• Practice interview techniques with a friend
• Take every opportunity to hone your interview skills – even if it is not your dream job. Experience is important.
• Bring your portfolio to your interview • Relax, smile, breath, ask for questions to
be repeated if you need additional time to answer
• Dress to impress

• Be yourself • Do your research – research the
organisation and the role that has been advertised
• Learn their values and philosophy • What is their A & R Rating? • Do they run specific programs that you
can link your own passions too? E.g – Kelly Sports, Cooking weekly, Hey-Dee-Ho Music programs etc
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn is just as important as experience
