Due: Midnight (EST) Wednesday of Unit 8.

Length and Format: This paper will be 1.5 to 3 pages in length. APA formatting and citations shall be used. At least two primary source references will be used.

Overview: For this assignment you will assume the role of the Logistics Section Chief (LSC) for the JPB Train Derailment scenario. Refer to the attached Incident Radio Communications Plan ICS-205. Research and report on currently available Interoperable Communications technology. In the role of the LSC, you will discuss how this technology can be applied to optimize communications and allow for collaboration with the various stakeholders impacted by this incident.

The requirements for Project 2 are:

 Familiarize yourself with the JPB Train Derailment Scenario.

 Analyze the provided Incident Radio Communications Plan ICS-205.

 Research and report on currently available Interoperable Communications technology.

o Explain how this technology can be applied to optimize communications for

the JPS Train Derailment scenario.

o Describe how this technology can allow for collaboration with the

various stakeholders impacted by the JPB Train Derailment Scenario.
