Description of the Classroom: Identify the grade level, the classroom setting (in-person, hybrid, online, etc.), and any other specifics that will be important when considering the management of students in that grade level. ( NOTE: You may use your field experience classroom or the ideal classroom where you would like to teach.) |

Physical Classroom Layout: Describe how the classroom will be arranged and how that arrangement provides flexibility, promotes student learning, and accommodates the different learning needs of students. |

Ice-Breaker Activity: Describe an ice-breaker activity that can be done during the first week of school for students to get to know their classmates. |

Attention Getter: Explain how you will get students’ attention throughout the day. |

Rules and Expectations: Identify rules and expectations for students and how those will be communicated to students on the first day of school. Include how you will maintain a strong culture of individual and group accountability for classroom expectations. |

Rewards and Consequences: Describe the reward and consequence system you will use in your classroom and how you will ensure students feel safe, even when receiving consequences. |

Procedures: Create two classroom procedures (e.g., entering the classroom, using the restroom, use of technology, turning in work, transitioning). |

Teaching Procedures: Explain how you will introduce, teach, and reinforce classroom procedures to students. |

Positive Classroom Climate: Describe how you will continue to build rapport and a positive classroom climate throughout the year. Include how you will collaborate with students to develop shared values and expectations for respectful interactions with adults and peers. |
