ELECTRONIC HEALTH CARE RESOURCES 2

There are a lot of electronic healthcare resources that collaborate with mobile

applications, websites, and multimedia. Mobile devices help communicate patient data from one

health care specialist to another, use of health care websites where patients can get information

about their illnesses, prescriptions, and even purchase drugs online and electronic records that

ensure accurate information on patient data. The use of electronic resources helps health care

institutions to achieve their goal. Digital healthcare has produced and improved for the wellness

of customers and providers in the last decade. Most sites and applications are completely

compliant with HIPAA. I have two resources, which I shall discuss.

There are several applications out there that you can use on your smartphone or any

electronic device that can download applications. One of which I have chosen is Care Passport.

With this, you can use it on the web, download it from the app store, or if Google play if you are

using an Android device. You will have full access to all your records, labs, medical records,

vital signs, and more. Patients who use these resources can use them all over the world and are

free to the public. You can share your clinical outcomes with caregivers, as easily as with anyone

who has been approved by you. You have full control over your health and its records. Users can

try a demo if you decide if you want to go with a care passport. You will need your insurance

card, primary care physician, blood type, emergency information, name, date of birth, and gender

when you set up. When setting up your account, you can access the demo mode; you can find a

health care provider by choosing nearby me or using the name of the doctor. You have a tab on

the app for your medical record, appointments, provider, and a connecting tab. This

communication will help physicians to encourage self-confidence in patients and help them

connect with them when they are not in the office.

WebMD is a popular and widely used source between the sites and Applications out

there in the healthcare field today. WebMD is not just a place to check you're a possible

diagnosis, it is a website that provides more up-to-date health and wellness information on health

data that could affect anyone (ADHD, malignancy, pregnancy, diabetes, HTN, HIV, and so on).

WebMD is used by people as well as providers. The site is where patients can search for

specialists of several cases, such as family specialists, heart surgeons, obstetricians, and so on. If

you are looking for a doctor, you can search for specialties, conditions, and procedures. You can

also search by zip code, which will set up a list of physicians available.

If you are looking to find out what your symptoms mean you can search for what you

may be experiencing. You will be asked what your main symptom is, or you can choose from the

option that WebMD gives you. When this step is finished, they will ask you a few more

questions, and that question will help to show you the most accurate resolution of your

symptoms.

Electronic Resources Used by Healthcare Providers to Enhance Products and Services

Health care providers use these websites and applications to improve their products and

services by providing accurate medical information to patients, improving communication

between the patient and the provider, and improving the quality of health care. Health care

providers and hospitals can make it easier to obtain medical information and medical

notifications utilizing clinical reference apps. Health care providers can also use the reference

app to browse for medical billing codes, identify drug interactions, and use medical computer

software. The effect of resource usage in the healthcare industry would be that healthcare

providers rely on wireless internet connections because of the use of the healthcare app.
