IV. Anticipatory Set
To relate the lesson to students' prior knowledge and motivate their learning, I will start by asking the students if they have ever seen rain or observed puddles drying up. We will discuss what happens to the water, and I will introduce the term "water cycle" as the process through which water moves in our environment.

The goal of this lesson is for students to develop an understanding of the water cycle and its different stages. This lesson will lay the foundation for future lessons on weather and climate.

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
· Identify the stages of the water cycle (evaporation, condensation, and precipitation).
· Explain the process of the water cycle using appropriate vocabulary.
· Create a visual representation of the water cycle.

IX. Instruction/Input
I will use the following methods, activities, materials, and integrated technologies to assist students in meeting the objectives:
Introduction (10 minutes):
· Engage students in a class discussion about their experiences with water.
· Show pictures of the water cycle and discuss the different stages.
· Introduce key vocabulary words: evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.
Exploration (20 minutes):
· Set up a demonstration of the water cycle using a hairdryer and small bowls of water.
· Guide students through the observation of the water evaporating, condensing on the bowl, and forming droplets.
· Discuss the observations and reinforce the vocabulary.
Application (10 minutes):
· Divide students into small groups and provide them with cloud model materials (cotton balls, blue construction paper, glue).
· Instruct students to create a visual representation of the water cycle using the materials.
· Students will present their models to the class and explain the different stages.
