For this assignment, you will compose an essay in response to one of the prompts:

1. Identify a theme connecting any two of the course readings. In what way does this theme branch the stories together? What is the significance of this connection? Be sure to support your claims with evidence from the texts.

2. Identify and interpret the use of symbolism in any one of the course readings. Support your claims with evidence from the text.

3. Examine the family dynamics at work in any of the course readings that we have covered.

4. Compare or contrast the writing styles of any two authors we have studied thus far. Be sure to support your claims with textual evidence.

Your essay must meet the following requirements:

❖ The Essay must be typed in 12pt Times New Roman font with standard 1” margins and double spaced ❖ All citations must follow MLA 8th edition formatting
