Project Statement

Select one of the two attached papers and write a 4-page summary of the paper. Your

report/summary must contain the following sections:

• Cover page with relevant information

• Objective of the paper

• Related current/previous works mentioned in the paper

• Description of the contribution of the paper

• Related theory given in the paper (mention some of the terms only, equations or details not required)

• Applications mentioned in the paper

• Related topics covered in your course

• Any future work that you may find related to the work given in the paper.

Instructions

Note the following in preparing the report/summary:

• Use letter size paper with 1-inch margin on each side.

• Write in 12-points Times New Roman font, use single-line spacing.

• Write in your own word/language. Do not copy-paste from the paper.

• You may copy only figure/figures from the paper. But total space used for figures/illustrations cannot be more than 25% (i.e., not more than 1 page out of 4 pages).

• Be prepared for a 5-minute talk on your report/summary on the day of submission.

Caution/Warning

• Write your report by yourself.

• Any kind of plagiarism of any degree among your fellow course mates, in the write-up of your report, will result zero credit in the project, and other standard actions given by the university

policy.
