Early conceptualization about Nursing Theory are very important and we can applied them to advances practice nursing. They help us to learn what is our role as professional nursing and focus in our patients. One way is the importance of the nurse- patient relationship. I work in a dialysis clinic, where we provide hemodialysis treatment to patients with chronic kidney disease. These patients have to go to the clinic at least 3 times a week to receive their treatments, so, it is essential a good relationship between patients and nurses and other members of the staff. Nurses showing professionalism and their abilities to develop their work, make the patient feel better and more confident when they are receiving their treatments. That way we can provide a quality health care.

Another way is that nurses should have a holistic, caring and humanistic view of their patient. Knowing their health problems, difficulties they may have to obtain their medications, to follow their treatments, their diets. We should work together with the interdisciplinary team: dietitian, social workers, doctors to help them solver their problems and maintain a good standard of live despite their disease and avoid complications.

All the essentials are very important in nursing practice, but I think essential IV is related to this topic, because it explains how the knowledge and skills we learn can be put into practice for the patient's wellbeing. A master's-prepared nurse should integrate theory, evidency and research to improve practice focusing on providing quality of care to our patients.
