Fledging republic has the blame of breaching up antiquated heathen divisions and overhanging to distract the rude in resume battle. The crisis is retrogressive quick with vex detail of compulsory disappearances, targeted killings, and pervasive man perpendicular injure by violence constant to the opposing side and polling age, voters may not test unhurt and faith the privacy integrity of the ballot. And when the ticket has been depending, the issue must be accepted, no material how foiled the conquer candidates feel. Too often, these predicaments are not met (Ames, 2009).

I think Edge of republic documentary tries to focus on the events in the South American country; and reflects on the public violence and how democracy has not been exercised fully due to the death of quality in leadership, the disagreement between the three arms of the government, which has continued to paralyze the Brazilian country. I think also the Documentary tries to show us the criminality in the Brazillian region as a result of corruption, and also there is an impeachment of those in power. This shows how leaders misuse their powers, thus betraying what they had promised their citizens. The shrinking of Brazilian funds also leads to how leaders embezzle the public to their satisfaction. The Documentary also shows how leaders use their powers for their gain. For instance, political leaders cannot be imprisoned as they have parliamentary immunity(Kingstone, 2008).

There is a parallel of this to the other countries like the African countries where democracy is not fully exercised. Leaders are very corrupt, where they make empty promises to the public and steal public funds (Biju, 2010).
