Respond to one of your colleagues’ posts in 125 words and provide additional insight as to what other opportunities your colleague might want to explore further in their research.

Return to this Discussion in a few days to read the responses to your initial posting. Then, repost under your first post your reflections on your choice of topic. Would you like to adjust, re-direct, or start over?

 Angelica Mason

What is the phenomenon of interest?

The project's goal was to record students' emotions by incorporating technology into several pedagogical areas as part of their normal basic education curriculum. To that end, computer programs (software) have to be developed and tested in many areas under the supervision of instructors. Plaphoons, which is free software made for students with special needs, was used as a technological tool. Triangulation of data and categorization of content were used to look at the content of the intentions, perceptions, observations, and data entries. This was done to come up with results. It was concluded that the use of this Inclusive Education; Cognitive (ICT) enhanced the abilities of these students, confirming cognitive improvements for learning the topics of mathematical logic, communication and social sciences. It was also found that this tool allows a better and greater development of their social skills (Pérez-Saavedra et al., 2019).

What experiences or contextual issues might influence how this phenomenon could be studied?

All children, no matter how they are physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, linguistically, or in any other way, must accept disabled and gifted children in school. As well as children who live on the streets and work, children from remote or nomadic communities, children from language, ethnic, or cultural minorities, and children from other disadvantaged or marginalized groups or areas. Teachers' curriculum experiences and the development of cognitive and social-emotional skills in the context. Even if a student with special educational needs (SEN) learns differently, teachers can still teach them in the best way possible, and the school can still be a good place for them. Making the changes that will help them reach their full potential (Pérez-Saavedra et al., 2019). How does the impact of the small sampling influence the phenomenon in a large sample sizing?

In what setting(s) could a topic like this be explored?

The initiative needed eight participants, aged eight to thirteen, who had a demonstrable impairment to communicate or move and were members of the Special Education educational community.

What connection do you have to this topic, and why do you think it is important to explore this as a qualitative study?

The study was part of a qualitative investigation. The results were identified using action research; afterward, data triangulation and content categorization were used to analyze the contents of intents, perceptions, observation, and data registration. Additionally, the study could take place in a general education inclusion setting. According to Pérez-Saavedra et al., UNESCO – UNICEF validates the inclusion of special education in the definition (2001) when they indicated that the meaning of inclusive education is deeper than that of integration (2019).

What possibilities could the results of this research have for social change?

The teaching method included redefining educational learning, explaining and giving scientific methods to educational issues and teaching change, student's education at all educational levels, and pedagogical training applied to those being evaluated.
