Latin History

Final Paper option: 

My paper of choice is the Latin American Country of Ecuador and needs to be 10-11 full written pages with references pages.

Discuss the indigenous population of Ecuador and the role they have played in developing the country in the past and of today. Discuss the population and history then and today, as well as the government and politics. Discuss the type of government that exists and what is the main type of source of income or GDP.

Discuss Afro Ecuadorians, the history of how they came to the country of Ecuador, religion, culture, politics, today’s cultural environment.

A research paper on a question related to your assigned country. It must be at least 2,500 words (~10-11pages) and incorporate at  least three different primary sources and five different secondary sources.

This requires a short (2-3 paragraph) reflection on what went well/what didn't as you completed the project along with the bibliography of sources used.
