In the United States, there used to be forests which covered large tracts of land but with time, the forests started diminishing because the trees were cut down and used in the manufacturing of papers. The papers which were manufactured ended up in garbage which also affected the environment. In developed countries, like the United States, the rate in which the carbon dioxide is emitted to the atmosphere is high such that in future, there will be a need to devise a way to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere because of its effects. With the increase in the population also, the carrying capacity of the earth will be reached and this will lead to the depletion of the resources which are mean to sustain the living. The increase of population is like a subsystem which is growing inside a parent system. It grows to the point where it touches the walls of the parent system. If the subsystem continue t grow after touching the walls of the subsystem it will damage the walls. This is what happens with the population whereby by exceeding the carrying capacity, it will lead to the depletion of the resources and thus finally leading to extinction.

With the improved living standards, it means that more production is done and in the process of producing the goods, more carbon dioxide is emitted. This means that the developed countries like the United States emit a lot carbon dioxide to the atmosphere as compared to the developing nations. With the way in which the goods are produced, consumed and disposing of the stuff, it will affect the environment and thus it will not be in a position to sustain the coming generation. The way in which the gods are produced, consumed, and even the way in which the wastes are disposed should be done in a way that the environment and the available resources are conserved so that they can sustain the coming generation.

In the developed nations also, people are working for longer hours, unlike some nations where people are working for less hours and thus they get time to rest and to spend with the friends and neighbors. This argument does not mean that united states have lost in some grounds but the things which needs to be changed include having a clean environment which is not polluted, and to have free healthcare services. The other thing is to have cases of obesity being reduced.

The garbage results from the economy of the nation whereby as the nation s growing its economy, there is the need to have improved ways of producing goods. During production of the goods, more waste is released into the garbage thus leading to a lot of garbage being found in an area. But in the developing nations, production using technology is still low and thus the garbage are less thus leading to the nation having a clean environment which ensures that people are living in a conducive environment.

There is interconnection between the economy and the garbage in the nation. This is because when the economy of the nation is growing, it leads to the increase in the garbage because there is more production thus leading to the increase in the amount garbage dumped. With the increase in the volume of the garbage, it brings health problems since garbage is a form of pollution and thus it pollutes the environment thus leading various ailments to the residents living near that garbage.

Greenpeace helps the members of the society o see the wrong things and to inform that there are some of the things which are done and they are wrong and thus the need to rectify them. For instance, reducing the garbage should be done because they form source of carbon dioxide when they are left stinking and with the increase n the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, it will affect the climate since they will contribute t the climate change. The changes which are experienced n the climate include increase in the temperatures.

Capitalism which is supported by majority of Americans is considered as the best way in which the economy of the nation can be gown. All the members of the society are embracing capitalism since they see as the way in which economy will grow but the problems which are affecting the environment are as a result of the systemic failures of capitalism. Since there are failures of capitalism which are affecting the environment in a negative way, the best way to handle this situation is by addressing the failures of capitalism hence ensuring that where there is failure, the failures are corrected thus leading to preservation of the environment.

The environment s affected by the ways in which the goods are produced through the use of technology. This is what is enjoyed in the United States whereby in most of the activities which are carried out, the new technology is applied. But the problem which is associated to the use of the technology is pollution of the environment. In addition, emission of carbon dioxide also affects the climate since it leads to the increase in the temperature. When the temperature increases, it affects the natural ecosystem of the organisms hence forcing the organisms to migrate and others which cannot migrate will be extinct with time if they fail to adapt to the changes being witnessed. This is an indication that the available resources will also be affected. And when the available resources are depleted, it means that the coming generation will not have resources hence will lead to the end of the human generations and other organisms.

It is important for all the citizens to know the importance of conserving the environment since it will enable them to protect it by avoiding doing those things which leads to the deterioration of the environment. Greenpeace provides an opportunity to the members of the society who are seeing the wrong things being done and commenting them. By commenting on them, it will ensure that the wrong things are corrected. When they are corrected, the environment will be conserved by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide released to the atmosphere.

It is the duty of all to conserve the environment by using those means of production which will enable that the environment is protected. With the increase in the technology and which leads to the economic growth, it leads to the deterioration of the environment though pollution. In addition, there is depletion of the available resources since production is effective with the use of technology but when the resources are depleted, the future generation will have any resources for their survival.
