Pola Inc. is the name of my e-commerce company. The company's CEO is called martin Byrd, while the name of the CIO is Wendy Williams. The company offers both services and products. The company provides services such as software services. These services are sold online to customers with various software needs.

On the other hand, the company sources products from different suppliers and offers them to customers. This exposes the suppliers who are still growing to a ready market. The products offered include clothing, and electronics, among others. The company acts as an online retail shop and bridges the gap between the manufacturers and the customers. However, the company also develops its goods. When there is a need in the market, and the customer's feedback is not good about a particular product, the company tries to give the suppliers this feedback so that they can improve. However, if the suppliers do not improve, the company manufactures the products, factoring in customer feedback. This is because the project's primary goal is to avail goods to customers and meet their needs. The company does not involve itself with products that do not meet the customers' needs.

I am a data specialist in the company. Data is essential because it helps the company to know what the customers are interested in and what they would like improved. Therefore I manage data and help in its processing and analysis to derive patterns used to improve products. I lead a team of five people who help me do this job. There is Mathew, the data manager; Kimberly, the software developer; Robert, the IT project manager; and Susan, the data manager. The team also helps in developing strategies in the organization. Data is precious in our organization. It is through the available information that the market is understood.

The data points out the market dynamics, such as the kind of new products in the market and what competitors are doing differently. Therefore, the team and I always try to use data to ensure we are always informed about these market dynamics. Being informed helps to increase competitive advantage. This is because we can keep up with our competitors and be ahead of them. We can identify gaps and fill them even without the knowledge of the competitors. The data also helps in the development of new products and services. The products are developed through understanding the needs of the customers. If the suppliers are unwilling to make these developments, the company sets its goods since the main aim is to meet the customers' needs. All of the data specialists understand the importance of data and put effort into collecting, processing, analyzing, and identifying patterns in the data. This organization takes data processing seriously since it is an essential asset. All my team members also play their roles very well for the betterment of the organization.
