Part A:
· One way to reduce my ecological footprint is to simply reduce my waste. From what I found, one way this could be done is to implement more natural foods like vegetables into my everyday diets/meals which also would impact my water footprint too. This would be easy for me however it would need to be a focus and is not currently top of mind when planning meals.
Part B:
· Being that my carbon footprint is below the national level, I like to think i am helping however there is usually more we can do. One thing I have helped is that I am work from home now 100% by choice instead of driving 60 minutes in total each day for a commute.
Overall, there are many lifestyle changes that we can all make however it starts a lot with knowledge and how we are impacting the environment. I think these tests really outline how much resources each person actually uses as sometimes putting that into reality changes one’s perspectives. As i stated in my introduction, my life currently has flipped and now I will have to get used to a new normal for a while, I could implement some of these savings as well and bring that habit to my partner when he returns.
