What do we know about Mars
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun
It is often referred to as the 'Red Planet' because of the iron oxide on the planet surface which give it a reddish appearance
It has craters, valleys, deserts and polar ice caps
Mars has two moons
What if humans could live on Mars?
Humans can live on Mars, but only with specialized equipment. Because there is no air to breathe on Mars (there is an atmosphere, but there's too little oxygen), we need to produce our own.
It gets very cold on Mars, at the poles it can reach -140 degrees C
You could jump three times higher on Mars because the gravity is much weaker than earth’s
