Welcome to Assignment 4. To successfully complete this assignment, you will need to do substantial research, reading, and study of the topics. In addition to the assigned readings found in the lesson area, you must conduct your own research using the university databases and other appropriate sources. Sources used should be peer-reviewed and published no more than six years ago.
The Assignment
This assignment has 2 sections and BOTH must be submitted in your deliverable.
Section 1: Research Activity - Quantitative Research
In Lesson 4, you undertook research to learn more about the quantitative tools listed below:
1. Pre/Post Test
2. Case Study
3. Survey
4. Correlation
5. Comparative
6. Observation
Now, write a brief description of each tool, noting their advantages and disadvantages, and which tool or tools would be suitable for your research.
Your work must be supported with evidence of wider reading.
Section 2: Research Methodology
Choose TWO data collection tools for your project. These can be both qualitative, both quantitative, or one qualitative and one quantitative. This is YOUR choice as long as they work for your study.
In your paper, you must explain WHY you chose these tools and HOW they are best suited to your study. Your work must be supported with evidence of wider reading.
Deliverable
In your deliverable, please include both sections, clearly noting which each is:
Section 1: Quantitative Research
Section 2: Research Methodology
Your paper with both sections should be a minimum 6-pages in length and submitted as a Word file. It must have a title page, with the correct digital title, and be APA formatted.
Remember: All writing must be supported by academic (scholarly sourced) literature and will appear in APA format including proper in-text citations and references at the end. You must clearly cite each sentence that contains materials sourced from the lesson area and your academic resources.
Your work will be checked for academic integrity by a plagiarism checking system
