Planning a family reunion requires a lot of thought to put things together so that the planning of it may be successful. The purpose of planning a family reunion is to introduce the relatives of each family, so that everyone is aware that they are kin, in some cases also to avoid future incest in the family, and by providing family history information. Most Families have their family reunion each year at the same time, same date, and same place which makes the planning easy. Family reunions will most likely involve conversations to get to know one another, playing games, dancing, listening to music, taking family photos, or anything that may involve bringing the families to close together. Project goals are defined as the result of achieving your long-term goals after successful planning. The goals and objectives for planning a project are important because they help to identify and describe the concrete actions or deliverables that will work together to achieve the broader and higher-level goals of the project. Objectives should motivate your team to be effective. It should outline a path to success clearly while also monitoring your progress (Team Clarizen, 2021). Setting your project objectives at the beginning of your project can guide your project because it is the key element of your plan. Tips for creating a great project objective are creating objectives that are written and helpful to help you know where you’re going so you can achieve your long-term goals. You can also, do this by using the SMART methodology which stands for; specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bond (Julia Martins, 2020). Setting goals and objectives allow you to plan, organize, and control the order, time duration, and estimation of cost for activities to ensure that the project is successful. The actual goals of a family reunion are to get the family involved, see who’s going to participate in the event, where the event will be held, and of course, the budget which is very important to know how much it will cost to put this family function together. family reunions reunite families that haven’t seen each other in years due to the distance in which a family member may live or maybe because of work and being busy. However, no one person can handle all the different tasks alone and may need assistance from other family members to carry out different duties for it to be successful. The importance of understanding the organization and its structure helps the project manager and business analyst to know exactly who to go to for information or tasks that need to be executed, basically providing guidance, by laying out the official reporting relationships which govern the workflow. Knowing the organizational structures will keep them from going in circles. An outline of the structure makes it easier to add other positions as needed. (Frankie Mouzon, 2019). However, using a project management structure determines the hierarchy and the authority established over people involved in the project. The structure defines each member's roles and functions while reporting lines on the chart for each member to reference during a project. For this pacific event, I have adopted a projected organizational structure that would be the best fit because members report directly to the project manager and there’s and the line of authority is clear while reducing any conflicts and making the decisions faster and more flexible. With this structure, the project manager has full control over all resources and the budget meaning that, it doesn’t have to get approval because the money is already at hand. Moreover, the communication and cooperation are a lot better in this structure because there is a sense of urgency when completing milestones. (Fahad Usmani, 2021). In project management, a stakeholder is individuals and organizations that are directly involved in the project who has something to gain or lose from your project outcome. However, the easier term for understanding this is that a stakeholder is anyone with an interest or investment in your project. Depending on the project phase, a stakeholder influence can become either more or less important. The project manager is responsible for keeping all stakeholders informed of everything, involved, and being on board for the whole progression of the project. There are two types of stakeholders which are internal and external. The internal people or groups within the project and external are those that are on the outside of the project. Stakeholders may vary due to the type of project. Some types of stakeholders in project management are project managers, team members, managers, resource managers, executives, senior management, company owners, investors, sponsors, financiers, and suppliers. The stakeholder’s role is to help meet the objectives by giving their experience and perspective for the project to be successful, while also providing materials and resources if necessary (MasterClass Staff, 2022). Project costs are an essential step for mapping out a project budget and to do so, you will need to create a list that's relevant to the project itself. When estimating and developing a project budget you can consider breaking down your project into smaller parts for estimation, pre-plan by creating a realistic estimate for the project budget covering all activities within the project and containing sufficient contingency, establish budgets, cost controls, tracking cost, and by measuring results. You should also be prepared for risks because there is a chance that project managers go off track with cost and not be able to manage the supplies properly so you always have to prepare for the worst.
