Assignment 1

An important skill for entrepreneurs is to know and access sources of new venture funding.  While this is not the only skill needed, a failure in this area is often catastrophic. 

Given its' importance, research from your text or other source the various methods of new venture funding and

write a five page (double-spaced, font 12) paper explaining the pros and cons of each of these methods.  

Assignment 2

Many small businesses remain just that "small."  The question is how does a business move from being small to being large, even very large.  This is the interesting question of growth that is addressed in your text. 

Read that material and then write a three page (double-spaced, font 12) paper outlining at least three possible growth strategies.
