For the three common methods of system interaction—command language, menus, and objects—recall a software package that you have used recently and list what you liked and disliked about each package with regard to the interface. A software package that I've used is Adobe Creative Suite It is a suite of tools that I've used in the conception of various media, such as image editing, web page creation, video animation and 2D vector image creation. The strength of the adobe products resides in its objects buttons and then followed by its menu, as there are many options of control in the menu . The command language is not a functionality as Adobe products are What You See Is What You Get, however most of the task have shortcuts that allows the task to be executed when the matching characters have been excecuted. The type of Interaction that I prefer varies from the task that needs to be executed, the more complex tasks would have to be done under the menu selection. I do believe that object and menu will still be prevalent and no hierarchy would be define between those two.

A workstation is characterized by sets of computer hardware that are used for networking and communication in the information system.  Every employee has computer hardware with its peripherals including printers and faxes to facilitate clerical work such as record keeping and communication. The workstation of the data engineering industry has large sets of hardware and software applications to create foolproof information systems.  

Printer is used to make hard copies of web design to share with others for discussion. Teams engage in virtual meetings to discuss critical issues and make decisions, therefore information system networks together with peripherals help in effective communication and collaboration(Walker et al, 2011).

There are a couple of my company general computer technology such as Zoom for our communication platform. We use google drive to store our data for our cloud storage. We use Jira for project management for IT as well as smartsheet. We use all other basic software such as Microsoft office and google drive and lastpass is the SSO we use which is very helpful for all of us. I personally use the Microsoft excel the most and smartsheet to track my projects other than that I am always using google sheet for my computer.
