Hi, After going through your work, I have learned that the design phase of a policy process is when the genuine intention of a solution to anissue is comprehended, and the right tools are utilized to accomplish policy triumph(Peters2018). The creation of policies or presenting an idea is how nurses can participate in policymaking. By working actively in the nursing field, nurses can identify problems and develop better solutions to patient needs. Nurses have several ways of participating in policymaking, one of them being advocacy. Advocating for patients is among the duties of a nurse, and nurses should feel excited andempowered that they get to have a voice in the political world to make health changes (Davoodv andAbbaszadeh& Ahmadi2016). regularinvolvement in policymaking is vital in designing policies formed to giveexcellent health care at a reasonable cost to all people. However, nurses face some challenges when getting involved in policymaking, such as getting pushed back by legislators and finding the evidence-based practice to support their ideas. Nurses should come together and fight for what is right and become active, which may support new policies or change old ones. Having several people supporting the same idea will reduce pushback, which can be possible by becoming a nursing association member that can assist with finding or creating evidence-based practice. Finally, strategies that will help advocate for opportunities include nursing associations and courses taught to nurses. Nurses can also be helped to join politics to show the importance of nurses’ voices.
