I'm not sure why, but your flyer is showing up at the beginning of your document instead of in Part 1B.

Your title is slightly different from the one listed in Part 1A. Be sure to use the same title throughout your proposal.

Remove "Red Mountain" here. You can replace it with UAGC if you would like.

The word "secret" here doesn't make sense to me.

"To 1,000%" doesn't make sense to me either. :) I would recommend just stating something like, "learn how to help your child become independent" or something similar.

I'd like to see you state who should attend your workshop on your flyer.

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL 3

Part 1A: Workshop Details

Title Building independence in children.

Explanation  In a child development, child‐parent relationship has a significant  impact. Parenting skills and behaviors affect children self‐esteem,  behavior in school, cognitive development and children behavior. This  shows that parents have a role to play in early childhood learning.   Development of children to gain independence is important because its basic skill needed for success in school and later in life. Parents should  therefore embrace supportive parenting (Landry, et.al., 2018).

Objective/Purpose To learn ways of building independence in children. This is inclined to  early childhood parenting skill which should be supportive and  responsive.

Target Audience First priority is given to parents with children at their early ages 0‐11 years  and young couples intending to have children.

Theory The adaptive theory is used this learning workshop. The cognitive  development theory focuses on stages of children mental  development. A theoretical framework is used in describing responsive  parenting. This emphasizes that parents should ensure an effective‐ emotional style with positive affection. This makes sure that children  have both high levels of emotional warmth and nurturance. Maintain  the focus and interest of a specific child is important in building a child  to be independent. Responsive parenting is important in giving children a strong foundation for optimal development.

Parents achieve this by repeated interactions with children which end  up incorporating behavior to young children. New experiences are  assumed to be the pillars for child learning. It is clear which  developmental period in parenting influence is important to build a  consistency is responsive parenting. There are theories which see  responsive parenting important at infancy while other see its better at  early childhood development. Parents should be keen to note the  child’s changes in developmental needs.

Highlight
You've done a nice job explaining the importance of your topic; however, I would like to know more about what you plan to present during your workshop. The Instructor Guidance for this section of the proposal states: "Describe what your workshop will cover. Your clients should read this and know exactly what they are in for if they attend." What topics do you plan to present to parents at your workshop?
Catharine Gruver
Highlight
It's best to write this so we understand how who will achieve this objective/purpose. For example, you might say, "parents will learn ways of building . . ."

Nice work clearly stating who should attend this workshop!

Highlight
Who is the person who came up with this theory?

Do you have a source for the information you have presented in this paragraph? If so, please provide an in-text citation to the source of this information: https://writingcenter.uagc.edu/apa-citing-within-your-paper

Nice work sharing some information about responsive parenting. How does the theory you are discussing support the content or your workshop? Will you present this theory during your workshop? Will you share strategies parents can use to become more responsive as parents?

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL 4

Part 2: Roadblocks

Roadblocks Roadblocks Solutions List Roadblock #1 here Specific to the Objective

Tendency of independence  is something which comes  from the children within.  Tipping children to discover  their potential in self‐ independence cannot  happen overnight. Parents  should take as much time as  children take to realize self‐ independence.

Parents should be  outstanding to nudge  children with few tips to  discover independency in  their way.

List Roadblock #2 here Specific to the Objective

Children never understand  the concept of being  responsible. Children hate  waking up early and going to school.

Parents should encourage  their children every time and  make the best environment  to help a child in doing what  they are needed to do.

Professional Standards Professional Standard #1 Explain how it supports the  solution to Roadblock #1

BACD is interdisciplinary in nature because it is a combination of several aspects of psychology, communication as well as  social sciences.  This represents the objectives in the  workshop because in developing a child’s independence,  main areas of focus include cognitive development, social  development, speech, fine and gross motor skill  development. Parents should stand after proper  understanding of child’s development help them scale higher  in learning (Wambsganss, 2021).

solution to Roadblock #2 neuroscience and linguistics. This is also inclined to the  objectives of the workshop. Parents should understand  basics of children cognitive development in the early  childhood stages. This will help them in ensuring responsive  and supportive parenting. Children learn and adapt to the  environment they are exposed to. Parents should always  make the environment safe for children to have positive  development.

Part 3: Environment and Materials

Environment A well ventilated, lightened, and noise reduced working  space. The space should be enough for the designated  audience estimated to be an 80 No. of adults.

Needs and/or Supplies Training material printed hard copies  Computer  Projector Workbooks and pens Well‐spaced sitting chairs  Compliance to sanitary requirements for COVID‐19

Roadblocks Roadblocks Solutions  List Roadblock #1 here Specific to the Environment  or Needs/Supplies

Anticipated audience can be  big making the resources  allocated not enough.

In this situation, have groups  of trainees in different  sessions.

List Roadblock #2 here Specific to the Environment  or Needs/Supplies

Grouping people can lead to  spread of COVID‐19

Hold online training sessions  to reduce face to face  meetings. Ensure all those  attending comply with the  regulations of controlling the  spread of Covid‐19.

Professional Standards Professional Standard #1 Specific to the Environment  or Needs/Supplies

Exposing people to societal problems to come up with  solutions for the same. Cognitive studies will be key in the  workshop because it will help in encouraging flexible thinking and problem solving.

Professional Standard #2 Specific to the Environment  or Needs/Supplies

Creating a good workshop environment will increase the  probability of audience focusing on the learning objectives.

Part 4: Strategies

Partnerships

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL 6

BA Cognitive studies (BACS) is a program that would also  benefit from the program. This is a highly interdisciplinary  area combing ideas and methods for computer, linguistics,  psychology and neuro‐science.  This is inclined to the study  of intelligence and behavior focusing on systems that process and transmit information.     To ensure this program is sustainable, it is good to teach the  younger generation how to run business. This can be  achieved by parents concentrating in bringing up responsible children (Krogh, et.al., 2015). Grouping and Implementation of technology – use of tablets  and laptops to realize interactive sessions. This is important  because working and learning in teams will help the adult  audience understand to learning material in this workshop.

Strategies

Inquiry‐based instructions by giving room for audience to ask provoking question to easily make them independent  learners.
