The Doctoral Record is a tool in NCUOne that students will use during their dissertation process to submit
important deliverables. Your Dissertation Committee will provide feedback in the Doctoral Record on these
deliverables.

Rubric Assessment
Several deliverables require students to achieve a “meets expectations” on an associated rubric. You may
have to resubmit these deliverables until you achieve the required rubric score.

Progressing through the Doctoral Record
Your dissertation courses and your Chair will guide you in what deliverables to submit to the Doctoral
Record and when.

Submitting Deliverables in the Doctoral Record
Access the Doctoral Record
the same way you access
your courses. Click the
Select a course (waffle) icon
in the NCUOne top
navigation bar or by clicking
on the course box from the
My Courses widget. The
Doctoral Record is not
available in your Contacts
widget.

Submitting Deliverables: Option 1
Once in the Applied Doctoral
Record, click on the buttons
on the course homepage to
access the Dropbox for each
deliverable.
Hide the rubrics for the
Dropbox folder or scroll down
past them.

Click on the Add a File
button.
Select the My Computer
option.
Click on the Upload button.

Locate the document from
the appropriate location on
your computer and click the
Open button.
Click on the Add button.

Click on the Submit button.

Deliverables may also be
accessed by clicking on the
Content link in the navigation
bar in the upper left-hand
corner of the page.
From the Table of Contents,
click on the desired course
deliverables.
Click on the deliverable title
to access the Dropbox folder.

Once in the Dropbox folder,
click on the Upload button.
Locate the document from
the appropriate location on
your computer and click the
Open button.

Comments may be added
prior to submission. Click the
Submit to Dropbox button.
Activity Details at the bottom
of the page will reflect the
successful submission of the
deliverable.
Any rubrics used for
assessment are located at
the bottom right hand
corner of the Activity
Details.
Click on the rubric title to
view the rubric detail.

Accessing Deliverable Feedback
To view your Committee
feedback, click on the
Dropbox link in the navigation
bar.
Click on the Unread link
under the Evaluation Status
column to view the evaluated
criteria and feedback in each
area.
To view a checklist of
deliverables with summarized
feedback, click on the Grades
link in the navigation bar.
All deliverables will be listed.
Graded items will list a grade
and feedback.
