The explosion in access to information fostered by technology and social networking has not been accompanied by a corresponding level of fidelity of that information.  Various sources state that vaccines are harmful, attribute certain outbreaks to a sinister plot to elimination certain populations, or promote folk or fad remedies.  [See, for example, Hall, H.
