Course Description This course will assist students in identifying the political, economic, legal, social, and ethical forces which impact the health policy-making process at the organization, local, state, and national levels.

Course Learning Student Objectives By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

à Critically analyze health policy proposals, health policies, and related issues from consumers, nursing, other health professions, and other stakeholders in policy and public forums.

à Employ leadership in developing and implementing institutional, local, state, federal, and/or international health policy.
