There are several adverse impacts of climatic change on the world. One of the adverse effects is that humans and animals face new challenges for their survival due to the consequences of climatic change. Climatic change has resulted in increased temperature levels in the world, rising sea levels, shrinking glaciers, and increased ocean temperatures. It has resulted in frequent and intense droughts, storms, and heat waves threatening animals' lives. It has also resulted in biodiversity loss due to limited adaptability and the economic implications of these climatic changes. One of the ways that can be used to deal with climatic issues is through the use of technology which can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The fourth revolution technologies such as the internet of things, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing can play a vital role in addressing these climatic challenges.

One of the ways these technologies, such as the internet of things, are utilized will enable energy networks and consumers to become more energy efficient in general, which can reduce energy consumption and help address climatic changes. The second way that it can be utilized to deal with environmental changes is cloud computing, which can reduce carbon emission by one billion tons by shifting workloads that will enable the use of renewable sources of energy.

What I plan to do in the study is conducting a literature review on fourth-generation technologies. I will then use the quantitative research findings on how I can utilize these technologies to address climatic changes.
