Advantages and Disadvantages
The advantages of working at the SANG hospitals include a conducive working environment. The hospital culture focuses on continuous quality initiatives, scientific research as well as learning opportunities for medical staff (Fahd Mohammed Albejaidi, 2010). The disadvantage is that work contracts are one year only though there is the opportunity to re-contract. The advantage of working at King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital provides training and education programs for its medical staff as well as furnished housing to all staff. However, the work hours are often demanding and irregular.
The advantages of working for John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare is that the organization gives ample opportunity for developing one’s career and expertise. The organization administers one of the largest and most comprehensive training programs in the world. Working at the health facility also gives one access to a multinational team of experts (Fahd Mohammed Albejaidi, 2010). In this environment one can be able to benefit from a wide range of experiences and perspective. The hospital also provides access to the latest technologies in healthcare as well as a competitive salary and benefits. The disadvantage of working for the John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare is that the work environment can be emotionally demanding due to its fast-paced nature.
The advantages of working for Saudi Council for Health Specialists is that one can benefit from the rich scientific culture cognizant with the organization. The disadvantage for working for the Saudi Council is that the work environment can be distressing, This is because there are no overtime returns and pay increments can take long before awarded (Sheik, Mahamoud, & Househ, 2015).
In light of this, the best hospital to work for is the John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Dhahran. This is because of the opportunities that the center provides for professional growth and career development.
