In this week's resources, you explore the stories of the Bradley and Levy families. They are all in situations that need social work intervention and advocacy. What political strategies would you use to enact policies developed to assist these individuals?
In this Discussion, you develop political strategies to address one aspect of the situation(s) and problem(s) facing members of the Bradley and Levy families.

Week 9 – Community Context
What if you were a social work client seeking services? Before calling a respective agency in your neighborhood, what questions would you consider before choosing one? An agency’s services and programs usually reflect a community’s needs. By informally studying a client’s community, you will begin to identify those needs that are unmet as well as potential gaps in the service network. This week, you will focus on how understanding your client’s wider social environment will contribute to your ability to deliver services more effectively.
My agency is in Indianapolis, Indiana and they work with families and at risk youth who have referred by the Indiana Department of Child Services.
