Social problems are social conditions that disrupt the status of society and its people. In sociology, however, a social problem is defined as a process that helps people understand how a particular situation is perceived as a social problem. As a result, a social problem arises. The social problem begins with claims from community members, and the claim about the situation is a problem and must be resolved. The process of making claims about a situation in society is complex, and some claims are receiving faster attention than others (Hornbeek, & Peters, 2017). Unemployment, welfare, poverty, water quality, pollution, security, health, crime, and migration are some examples of social problems. Unemployment can be mitigated by affecting both types of supply-side and demand-side policies. Demand-side policies refer to monetary and monetary policy. Monetary policy helps reduce unemployment by increasing economic growth and aggregate demand. The government can do this by expanding fiscal policy by increasing spending and lowering tax rates. On the other hand, monetary policy can be adjusted to cut interest rates (Arawak, 2018). As a result, the cost of borrowing has fallen, and more people are getting loans for investment. Supply-side policies include things like having the skills to help the unemployed find a job. The government can improve labor flexibility, reduce the power of trade unions and support employment. The next social problem is pollution, which can be solved by improving governance policies. Pollution is the cause of pollution. Ordinary people do not have access to pollution information well and live only with the information they need about pollution. Lack of adequate information on pollution prevention methods gives society fewer opportunities to participate in pollution prevention. General concerns about industries in strategic areas are minimal or minimal. The main reason this is trivial is the lack of government support for claims submitted (Arawak, 2018). For example, in the United States, citizens can access pollution protection information through the EPA-led toxicity release list. The problem of social migration is a problem that weakens the country's economy. Although a country like the United States has benefited from immigrants living in a part-time country, it could threaten national security and diplomacy. However, the increase in the number of illegal immigrants has seriously affected the country.

Rise of Hybrid Simulation Approaches

While implementing the policy, many actors involved, and a considerable number of factors involves in the results. This impedes the prediction of the results. Simulation models are one of the approaches which can capture the interconnections between many systems and includes speculative components to deal with uncertainties. Simulation helps to gain insight into the impacts on the possible policies, which leads to new ideas and policies. It allows the decision-makers to understand the attributes of a policy, to find the opportunity to change, and to evaluate the impact of the new changes in KPI. Simulation models depend on data and do not rely on mathematical abstraction and should capture the critical attributes of reality and suitable for modeling or designing complex systems. When there is a development of any design or model can raise so many questions which requirements should include and allows discussion to multiple things and controls the different things in time on the policy results. In policy, making multiple designs are developed and combine various models into one single model. Agent-based modeling and simulation approach allows for combining different types of models or designs in a single simulation.
