There is an interesting form of qualitative research called dramaturgical analysis, which is, put very simply, analyzing a phenomenon as if it were a performance (Huth et al., 2019).  I'm simplifying this somewhat complex research methodology, but we could look at our NUR 350 class through a dramaturgical lens, as if it was a performance.  What role would people play if this were a performance?  How would on-stage behavior (in the classroom, interactions with the instructor) vary from backstage behavior (complaining about the course, sharing information about the course between participants, etc.).
