This is a fair assessment, I think! But you might find it valuable to know that 'kalam' isn't a person, but actually an Arabic term meaning, "the science of discourse."

But my follow up question would be, if you were to articulate it in it simplist form (and fewest premises), how would you do it? (and are the premises uncontroversial in your mind?)
