As I continue to go along the FNP Master’s Program, I expect to be more knowledgably in nursing concepts and have acquired more skills. I believe that one of the essentials that could possibly impact my future practice is Master’s essentials IX: Master’s level practice. This essential if understood correctly could positively impact my practice ideas. That is because this essential fully grasps a deeper level of nursing at the master’s level. This essential is meant to provide care to a diverse population of patients once the master level nurse is able to combine all the concepts of nursing. This will most likely make my practice safer and qualitative to different populations in different settings. I will be able to reflect upon previous practice and experiences and coordinate and manage health care by using technology and innovative ideas. By expanding my knowledge and using nursing informatics, my practice will not only be improved, but it will also be ideal. I expect to become more acquaintance with community resources in order to be able to advocate and apply preventive measures for the populations that I care for. I expect to fully know basic nursing concepts and be able to apply new knowledge and skills for a continuous lifelong learning. Also, I expect to be able to use and apply evidence based practice in my practice daily. This will make my practice more effective and up to date with all the changing technology and information. Finally, I will be able to see more populations of patients in different settings.
