The main issues addressed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) include the ethical issues, which detail that all the individuals involved in research and concerning human subjects. It should be carried out under the following main ethical principles, such as non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice for all("What is the Institutional Review Board (IRB)?" 2017). It is assumed that the guidelines and principles usually guide the detailed and proper preparation of proposals that are crucial for scientific studies.
The standard rule for the Institutions Review Board (IRB) states that all the information must be effectively monitored to ensure the safety of the subjects when appropriate ("What is the Institutional Review Board (IRB)," 2017). The application forms in all the sites are crucial for the data monitoring process, especially when a protocol has been posed more than the minimal risk involved and later included as an intervention.
The issues addressed by IRB relate to Information systems and digital privacy by both IRB and IT permitting the access of information risks, which often happens from diverse perspectives and various regulatory mandates. An example is a case where the IT staff are usually trained in several frameworks designed for large enterprises (Welcome to Harvard Catalyst - Harvard Catalyst, n.d.). However, the IRB access information risks about the federal regulatory mandates, which are usually designed to protect the human research projects. These entail the protection of human rights subjects, which is also known as the standard rule.
